1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CanadaLottoRadar ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be a resident of Canada, specifically within a jurisdiction where our services are available
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Not be prohibited from using lottery services under any applicable law
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

3. License and Regulatory Compliance

CanadaLottoRadar operates under a license from the Québec Lottery Corporation (Loto-Québec) in accordance with the Québec Lottery Act (RLRQ, c. S-13.1). All lottery operations are conducted in compliance with Canadian federal and provincial gambling regulations.

4. Account Registration

4.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to purchase lottery tickets. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.2 Age Verification

We require mandatory age verification during registration. You may be asked to provide government-issued identification. False declaration of age will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any winnings.

4.3 Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms of Use
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Provide false information
  • Abuse the Platform or other users
  • Fail identity or age verification

5. Purchasing Lottery Tickets

5.1 Ticket Purchases

When you purchase lottery tickets through our Platform:

  • All sales are final and non-refundable
  • Tickets are valid only for the specific draw indicated
  • We act as an authorized agent to purchase tickets on your behalf
  • Physical tickets are held securely on your behalf
  • You will receive a digital confirmation of your purchase

5.2 Payment

Payment must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) using accepted payment methods. You are responsible for any transaction fees charged by your payment provider.

5.3 Purchase Limits

We may impose limits on ticket purchases for responsible gambling purposes. These limits can be set by you or mandated by regulatory requirements.

6. Prizes and Winnings

6.1 Prize Claims

  • Small prizes (under $1,000 CAD) are automatically credited to your account
  • Larger prizes require additional verification and claim procedures
  • You must claim prizes within the timeframe specified by lottery rules
  • Unclaimed prizes are forfeited after the deadline

6.2 Prize Payment

Winnings can be withdrawn to your verified bank account or used to purchase additional tickets. We reserve the right to verify identity before processing large withdrawals.

6.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes on lottery winnings. We will comply with all tax reporting requirements under Canadian law.

7. Responsible Gambling

7.1 Self-Exclusion

You may request self-exclusion from our Platform for a specified period. During this time, your account will be suspended, and you will not be able to purchase tickets.

7.2 Spending Limits

You can set daily, weekly, or monthly spending limits on your account. Once set, limits cannot be increased for 24 hours.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate or defraud the lottery system
  • Use automated systems or bots to purchase tickets
  • Share your account with others
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Reverse engineer or hack the Platform
  • Purchase tickets for resale
  • Engage in money laundering activities

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CanadaLottoRadar or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

11.1 Platform Availability

We strive to maintain Platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Platform downtime or technical issues.

11.2 Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all information on the Platform is complete, accurate, or current.

11.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanadaLottoRadar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CanadaLottoRadar, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

13.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules of Québec, except where prohibited by law.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
